Parallel branches that meet: sub-assemblies
Parts of a product are made at the same time on their own machines and meet later: a motor and a frame assembled into a fan, a board and a housing into a module.
Built in A field or setting does it directly.
How
Make each branch a product of its own (isRoot: false) with its own parts and operations, and let the joining operation consume them:
{ "id": "assemble", "task": "Assemble fan", "condition": "true",
"consumes": [{ "product": "motor", "qty": 1 }, { "product": "frame", "qty": 1 }] }
Auto Generate builds a feeder for each branch, sizes it for the quantity the main product needs, and places a stock of finished branch parts at the joining station.
Branches of one unit that split from it and come back (the unit itself divides) are not modelled yet.
Check
Motor (wind 90 s, balance 60 s) and frame (bend 70 s, weld 100 s) are made in parallel and assembled (110 s) at a 120 s takt: one machine of each, all 240 fans of the shift.
